Well... No easy quest to express opinion on this music historical work. This review of the Baroque eras is simply superb and stresses not enough my thanks to the Internet that has allowed us layman the provilege of sharing Franklin's knowledge. This is a part of Intersilo that must be spread around (not so the "wealth"...). On another earthly detail: I love the black keyboard of the piano in Bach's three keyboards in D.

It seems that of the three keyboards used in Bach's concerto, two are 'pianoforte', which are I believe some of the earliest pianos with a somewhat different mechanism. The third one Eddy refers to with the black keyboard, is actually a harpsichord (cembalo).
